Editor

My work as an editor revolves around the author. I think about how to fix ideological flaws, perfect the storytelling, and incorporate storytelling accessories like data visualizations, photographs, etc. Most of my work in this sense has been working as a freelance editor with writers.

Union of Campus Journalists, University of Ilorin

I joined my uni’s campus union in 2019, I think. In 2020, I participated as part of the editorial for the production of the annual print magazine. After that, I served a tenure as a member of the Union’s editorial board in 2022 and served as the editor-in-chief in parts of 2022 and 2023. Within that time, I helped campus journalist perfect their stories ideologically and across different storytelling formats.

I also handled numerous administrative and leadership tasks organizing programs, handling partnerships, and heading reporting and editing teams.
